XPENG partners with UltraTune to make EV servicing easy and convenient – techAU

One of the big advantages of buying an EV is reduced servicing costs, but depending on which EV you buy there may still be a regular maintenance schedule.

In the case of XPENG, who entered the Australian market in 2024, they have partnered with Ultra Tune who offer more than 260 locations across the country.

XPENG says they know how important it is to have simple, reliable, and accessible servicing for your vehicle, which is why they have partnered with Ultra Tune.

For people in regional areas like Albury Wodonga that have an Ultra Tune location, this can be the difference between driving 10 minutes or 3 hours for a service.

Today, only select Ultra Tune locations across Australia have completed specialised training to ensure they’re fully equipped to service your XPENG, however this is expanding to many more locations.

So it’s great to know you have options if you buy an XPENG, but what does their service interval look like?

The XPENG G6 has a 20,000km or 12 month service schedule. The service includes the following items:

  • Safety inspection on battery, brakes, steering & suspension
  • Check/replenish all fluids as required, including coolant, and washers
  • Check lights and electric components
  • Rotate tyres & balance, check wheel alignment

This costs a fairly reasonable A$238 (inc GST).
