Willian will once again wear the white, black and red of Fulham’s colours after re-joining the club on a short-term deal.
The 36-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the season and sees him back at Craven Cottage, seven months after leaving as a free agent last summer.
The news of this reunion was first revealed by Mail Sport on Monday night, with the winger having had a medical on Tuesday before the move was officially announced on Thursday morning.
‘I’m really happy to be back here,’ he said. ‘I think it’s a great opportunity again to play for this club, and I’m fully motivated to get on the pitch and do things well for this club.
‘I’m completely happy, my family’s happy. We are happy to be back, and I think we can do good things until the end of the season, so I can’t wait to start with my team-mates and do good things inside the pitch.’
Willian had been a free agent after leaving Olympiacos last year and so could sign for a new team despite the transfer window now being shut.
