Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s vocals are featured in a new compilation teaser from their much-anticipated musical fantasy film Wicked.
The latest in the promotional push comes just over three weeks before the Jon M. Chu live-action film adaption premieres in theaters in the U.S.
‘Wait till you see this,’ the Wonderful Wizard Of Oz (Jeff Goldblum) tells Elphaba Thropp (Cynthia Erivo), who has already transformed to Wicked Witch Of The West.
From there Mr. Oz, who’s all decked out in a green suit, can be seen working his magic and the many different levers of machinery that’s behind his mystic, before seeing an overview of Emerald City.
And there’s a quick look at Peter Dinklage as the voice of Doctor Dillamond, a goat and history professor at Shiz University.

The two ladies can then be seen laying back on their respective beds, side-by-side, as they sing a couple of lines from What Is This Feeling?, which is a song from the musical Wicked that appears on the Wicked musical album.
Fans can also see and hear the British actress, 37, singing The Wizard And I from the original musical that’s sung by Elphaba for the most part.
By the time the two stars start harmonizing the Wicked Witch can be seen flying across the horizon on her broomstick, all while Glinda shows off some of her magical moves, as dressed up in a pink ensemble.
Co-star Jonathan Bailey, 36, is also featured singing in the clip, giving more of a taste of his Dancing Through Life.
Once the teaser starts. coming to a close the Wicked Witch Of The West belts out a couple of lasting notes that she hold on too for dramatic effect.
As the imagery, sounds and music start to come to a crescendo the clip flashes: ‘The magical event of the year arrives,’ across the screen in between scenery changes.
