Verstappen blasts FIA again as Hamilton gets Schumacher warning

Max Verstappen believes the FIA’s clampdown on drivers swearing over the radio and in press conferences has made F1 less enjoyable.

Earlier this year, the Dutchman was ordered to carry out community work after using explicit language while speaking to reporters.

Since then, he has made no secret of his disdain for the rule while being supported by other drivers.

Speaking ahead of this weekend’s race in Las Vegas, Verstappen said: “You always have to be politically correct.

“That’s always been the case, but I think with some of the things that have come in lately, it makes it a little bit less enjoyable.

“If it gets worse, I don’t know, but for me, I prefer not to say too much.

“[I am] just living my life, doing what I have to do on the race weekends, but also the outside of that.”
