US rapper Azealia Banks applauds Lidia Thorpe’s rant at King Charles: ‘Deport all white Australians’

US rapper Azealia Banks has thrown her support behind independent senator Lidia Thorpe’s extraordinary rant at King Charles this week.

The King had just finished speaking in the Great Hall at Canberra’s Parliament House on Monday when Ms Thorpe roared out a torrent of abuse at the monarch.

The controversial rapper has praised the senator’s actions, arguing that all white Australians should be kicked out of the country.

‘She tore,’ the 212 hitmaker write on X, formerly known as Twitter, sharing a clip of Ms Thorpe’s tirade.

‘Like literally… what the f**k are white people in Australia doing there?’

Azealia continued, revealing that she supported the deportation of white people out of the country.

‘I fully support mass deportation back to the UK for all white people in Australia,’ she wrote.

‘And they should have all of their property, bank accounts and assets seized and sent home barefoot.’

Going further, Azealia followed with a second shot, this time at the royal family, claiming they had no business in Australia.

‘The UK and the Queen’s Crown needs to go collect her bad ass bebe’s kids and take them the f**k home,’ her expletive-laden rant continued.

‘Give Scotland and Ireland their independence so they can build walls around themselves and not have to deal with an Australian migrant crisis and get the f**k out of Australia.’

Azealia’s comments came after Senator Lidia Thorpe, a high-profile Indigenous activist with a track record of stunts at major political events, screamed ‘f*** the colony’ and ‘you are not my king’ at Parliament House in Canberra on Monday.

‘Give us what you stole from us! Our bones, our skulls, our people, you destroyed our land,’ Senator Thorpe said.

‘Give us a treaty, we want a treaty in this country! This is not your land, this is not your land! You are not my King, you are not our King. You’re a genocidalist!’

As she was dragged away from the scene, she was heard yelling: ‘F*** the colony, f*** the colony.’

The response on social media to the controversial senator’s outburst was swift and brutal.

Senator Thorpe’s actions in Parliament were preceded by a bizarre altercation with the police hours earlier.

When a small group of protesters outside the Australian War Memorial were told to move on by police, Ms Thorpe was seen arguing with a police officer who held onto her shirt.

She then pulled her shirt off and stormed away from the officer.

‘Everything that we suffer in this country is because of that colonial invasion,’ she said after the tussle.

Ms Thorpe, who was elected as a Greens senator for Victoria before leaving that party and going independent, has often been vocal about her feelings towards the monarchy.

'Give us a treaty, we want a treaty in this country! This is not your land, this is not your land! You are not my King, you are not our King. You're a genocidalist!'

Last year she, along with representatives from 11 other countries, co-signed a letter urging King Charles to apologise for the effect of colonisation.

It’s not the first time that Azealia has unleased about Australia with the fiery rapper vowing, in 2022, never to return Down Under after claiming a previous show in Brisbane was the ‘most racist, demoralising experience’ of her life.’

‘I’m so sorry you guys – actually I’m not sorry – but listen: last time I was in Brisbane and y’all threw s*** on the stage and damn near almost f***ing hit me in the face with a f***ing bottle of soda or whatever that s*** was,’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘I am too far away from home … I am a beautiful black woman and I am not going to get in front of some audience of white people for them to be throwing s*** at me. I am so not sorry.

‘I am not sorry at all.’

The incident brought to an end a disastrous tour for the rapper, after planned gigs in Melbourne and Sydney were postponed due to ‘visa issues’.

In 2013, she was targeted by Australian fans throwing items at her on stage and later described Aussie crowds as ‘violent and belligerent’.

Azealia apparently agreed to play in Brisbane on the 2022 tour after her initial reluctance if security measures were beefed up, but then backed out claiming her requests had been disregarded.
