Stunning update after ‘nude artist’ Dina Broadhurst was papped topless at the beach with her toyboy ex… and his famous girlfriend was NOT impressed
They were the photos that had the whole of Sydney’s eastern suburbs talking.
Back in December, Dina Broadhurst, the famous ‘nude artist’, reunited with her toyboy ex Max Shepherd for a beach outing that was, er, friendly to say the least.
Our sensational photos showed Dina, 48, whipping off her red bikini top and parading topless in front of Max, who was visiting from LA in order to sell their apartment.
The first question on our minds was what Max’s girlfriend, American actress Vail Bloom, would be thinking about the pair’s sun-soaked reunion.
So we reached out to her in the States and she wasn’t exactly thrilled, peppering us with questions about what the images showed. She then confirmed she and Max were still very much in a relationship.
That was then. Now, two months on, rumour has it Max and Vail’s romance has come to an end, with a source telling us they’ve called it quits after more than a year of dating.

In a telling sign it may be more than just a rumour, the two have unfollowed each other on Instagram, with Max wiping all images of the couple from his grid.
Vail, a mother of two young children from a previous relationship, still has a loved-up photo with Max pinned to her page, but hinted at heartbreak on Wednesday by posting a cryptic quote about stress, anger and negativity.
‘Set boundaries and refuse to absorb everyone else’s problems,’ it read.
At the time the topless photos were taken, Max was in Sydney to help sell the Darling Point apartment he owned with Dina which they’d renovated during their relationship.
But our photographer caught them about half an hour’s drive away, at Kutti Beach, taking a break from the task at hand.
It was a sweltering hot afternoon so no one could blame Dina for whipping off her red bikini top, leaving almost nothing to the imagination in a tiny pair of tie-side bottoms.
But given Max was close by, not batting an eyelid, we did feel the need to check in with Vail, who confirmed to us at the time that she was still dating him.
She also made a point of saying that, while she liked Dina, she didn’t think much of her going topless in front of her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Dina told us at the time, ‘We are great friends and business partners,’ and Max added, ‘We are just friends and currently selling a property together.’
Max and Dina, who share a 15-year age gap, dated from 2018 to 2023.
After their break-up, she moved on with millionaire refrigerator heir John Winning Jr., but they split in late November after being together for about eight months.
Max’s relationship with Vail began fairly soon after he ended things with Dina, as the pair went Instagram official in November 2023.
And by June the following year, things seemed to be getting serious as Vail paid tribute to Max in a gushing post to mark his 31st birthday.
In her post, she referenced the close bond he shared with her children.
‘Happy Birthday to the man of my dreams, and Charlie’s dreams and Jack’s – We all love you! Endlessly!’ she wrote in the caption.
‘Can’t believe a year’s gone by. To many more trips around the sun – Happy birthday, my love. See you soon.’
