Strictly Come Dancing fans spot wardrobe blunder between ‘lookalikes’ Pete Wicks and Shayne Ward

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left perplexed after spotting an odd ‘wardrobe blunder’ on Saturday’s episode.

Viewers had to double take after noticing that both contestants Pete Wicks and Shayne Ward appeared in impressively similar looks.

At the beginning of the latest instalment, both stars were seen rocking a grey shirt, high-waist black trousers with their hair slicked back.

Fans of the hit BBC show were left confused by the similar ensembles for the glitzy night, and took to X sharing their opinions – with some claiming they were proper ‘lookalikes’:

‘Why is shayne dressed as pete? #strictly’, with some replying: ‘He’s cosplaying’, while another added: ‘I THOUGHT THE EXACT SAME.’

Meanwhile other viewers commented: ‘Is it just me or has the wardrobe team completely let down the male celebs this year?’, to which another user echoed: ‘Was thinking that. They are turning into the same person. Dressed the same, too.’

While Pete and Jowita Przystal scored 22 points, Shayne topped him finishing off with 31 points alongside pro partner Nancy Xu.

Strictly Come Dancing celebrities and professionals return to the ballroom tonight with Chris McCausland leaving fans ‘sobbing’ with his emotional performance and Eastenders Jamie Borthwick topping the leaderboard with an almost perfect score.

Jamie’s fiery pasadoble was showered with praise from the judges who were stunned by his ‘paso-tastic’ performance.

Meanwhile comedian Chris, 47, and the Aussie pro, 35, stunned viewers as they performed a waltz as they paid a tribute to Liverpool.
