The Sessegnons, 24, both started out at Fulham but Steven moved to Wigan in 2023, while Ryan has also played for Tottenham and Hoffenheim before moving back to Fulham.
“Ryan is my twin and the game is against my former club,” Steven told the BBC. “It’s going to be exciting for all the family.”
It is thought this might be the first time twins have shared a pitch for an FA Cup match but it is far from the first time that brothers have played in the same game.
Here are six times brothers have found themselves on opposing teams.
Ex-Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka chose to play for Switzerland, his country of birth, rather than Albania, where the family descend from.
Like the Xhakas, they also play for different national teams, with Michael representing the Three Lions and Will choosing to play for Ireland.
Kevin Prince and Jerome Boateng
Speaking of which, the Boateng brothers upped the ante in 2014 by turning out against each other at the World Cup.
Kevin Prince played for Ghana, their ancestral country, while Jerome played for Germany, where they were both born.
Filippo and Simone Inzaghi
Filippo Inzaghi had a more successful playing career than his fellow goal hanger, Simone, winning the Champions League twice with Milan – scoring twice in the 2007 final.
However, younger brother Simone has now established a superior managerial career and has won Serie A with Inter to reset the bragging rights in the Inzaghi household.
This one is included just to remind you of the time the pair captained Manchester United (Gary) and Everton (Phil) but refused to look at each other in the tunnel.
The brothers are now back on speaking terms and reunited in the coaching staff during Gary’s ill-fated tenure as Valencia manager.
The Ivory Coast siblings did play together at club level for Manchester City and Arsenal (as well as for one preseason friendly against Barnet).
But when Kolo left City for Liverpool, they were on the pitch at the same time when the two clubs played in 2014.
