Sam Armytage pulls her ‘beach shack’ off the market just hours before news of her split from husband Richard Lavender broke

Samantha Armytage has pulled her beautiful home on the NSW south coast off the market only hours before her split from husband Richard Lavender made headlines.
The delightful three-bedroom, two-bedroom beachfront property had been languishing unsold since last December.
A frustrated Sam, 48 slashed the original $3million asking price on the Hyams Beach property in September and relisted it with a $2.5million-$3million guide.
But on Thursday morning the Illawarra Mercury reported that the house has been dropped from the agents listing and was no longer for sale.
Daily Mail Australia reported exclusively only hours later that Sam had separated from her husband Richard Lavender, just shy of four years of marriage.
The couple tied the knot at his 40-hectare property in the picturesque Southern Highlands in NSW on New Year’s Eve in 2020.

Before the split Sam has been known to promote stays in the stunning waterfront home, which is situated 191kms from Sydney.
The former Sunrise star had the gorgeous pad on the market as a short-term holiday rental charging a staggering $1200 per night, with a three-night minimum stay.
Perched only metres from the beach, the home features an entertainment deck, studio and games room.
It comes after Sam’s split from her husband sent shock waves through Australia’s TV industry.
The couple’s separation was planned to be leaked to a Sydney newspaper on Friday, but sources confirmed the news to Daily Mail Australia in advance.
‘Yes Richard and I have separated. All breakups are hard, but it’s somewhat lessened by the fact it’s amicable and we wish the best for each other,’ Armytage told media late Thursday evening.
‘I appreciate you respecting our privacy. I won’t be making any further comment.’
It’s understood Armytage’s television presenter friends have been comforting the TV star behind the scenes for some time, following their split.

Armytage is no longer followed on Instagram by the 61-year-old equestrian businessman’s two daughters, Sascha and Grace, although the former couple still follow each other.
It’s understood she has moved out of Lavender’s Southern Highlands home and is now living in her apartment located in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Armytage for comment.
The former Sunrise host and Lavender started dating in April 2019, and announced their engagement in June 2020 before tying the knot at his property in rural NSW six months later.
The television veteran became the face of Farmer Wants A Wife in 2023 after first appearing as a guest host alongside former presenter Natalie Gruzlewski.
In August, she shocked fans of the franchise by announcing she was quitting Channel Seven after 21 years.
Describing the departure as ‘sad and bittersweet,’ she told The Daily Telegraph she felt her time had come to an end.
‘I’m big on instinct. I listen to my instinct. I know when the time comes. I am proud of the fact that I back myself enough to say: ‘I’ve done what I can do here’ and I move on,’ she said.
‘This is not the end. It’s just the end of this chapter,’ she added.
It’s been a tough year for Armytage who recently signed on as host of Nine’s new reality dating show The Golden Bachelor.
The Golden Bachelor is a spin-off of The Bachelor series, but differs in that the contestants of the reality dating show are people in their 50s and 60s.
In February, she lost her beloved dog Banjo while staying with her father near Wagga Wagga.
She shared pictures of herself posing with the six-year-old Labrador Retriever as she looked back on her precious memories with him.
In a caption, she shared a quote from Winnie the Pooh as she paid tribute to her pet.
‘How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard,’ she wrote.
‘Three weeks ago yesterday, I said goodbye to my darling boy, Banjo. My heart is completely broken.’
