Carolina Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks is out for the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in their defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, it has been announced.
Brooks, who has now suffered two ACL tears in the space of 13 months, was carted off the field after going down with a non-contact injury in the game.
And 24 hours later, the Panthers have confirmed that the rookie tore his ACL on the day in Philadelphia, bringing his season to an abrupt end.
