Natalie Bassingthwaighte doesn’t look like this anymore! Singer reveals major transformation at Melbourne’s ChillOut Festival

Natalie Bassingthwaighte is unrecognisable after debuting her new bright pink and red locks at ChillOut Festival.
The singer, 49, showed off her mega transformation on Sunday in a slew of posts shared on her band Rogue Traders’ Instagram.
In a number of Instagram Stories, Natalie could be seen partying it up at the Melbourne Festival over the weekend wearing a red leather dress embellished with giant hearts.
She accessorised the outfit with black lace up sneakers and a pride flag necklace as she performed onstage to a crowd of bezerk fans.
At one point, Natalie could be seen donning a silver cowboy hat and waving around a pride flag-inspired fan.
Another post showed the former Neighbours actress arriving to the ChillOut Parade in a swanky convertible along with her bandmate James Ash.

The pair took to Rogue Traders’ Instagram to share a clip of them before the festival, with Natalie exclaiming: ‘Who am I today?’ referencing her new look.
‘I don’t know but this is so fun,’ she told the camera, with James chiming in, saying: ‘We’re ladies in red today guys!’
Natalie recently opened up about her relationship with her partner Pip Loth following her divorce from Cameron McGlinchey.
The Australian actress described her romance as ‘beautiful’ and said that Pip ‘understands’ her more than any other person who has been in her life.
‘They get me more than I understand myself,’ she told Stellar.
‘It’s been the wildest time in my life and it’s beautiful.’
Shedding light on her experience coming out and the fear that often comes with it, Natalie said it was more of an internal battle than one she was facing with the people around her.
‘What I’ve learnt over this time is that I think I had internalised homophobia myself, so I was terrified about what people would say and think and feel,’ she told host Sarrah Le Marquand.

‘That’s just ingrained in growing up in a certain time when you weren’t allowed to be.’
‘It doesn’t mean I don’t get scared sometimes but that debilitating fear has gone. And it’s beautiful.
‘I feel heard, I feel safe, I feel connected.’
Natalie split with her former Rogue Traders bandmate Cameron McGlinchey in 2023 after 12 years of marriage, before revealing a new relationship with Pip in April the following year.
The former Neighbours star said there has been challenges that come post-divorce, particularly when it comes to co-parenting with Cameron and time lost with her kids.
Natalie shares two children Harper, 14, and Hendrix, 11, with her former husband and admitted on the podcast that Christmas without her kids was ‘harder’ than she thought it would be.
‘It was the hardest Christmas I’ve ever experienced,’ she said.
‘My therapist is like, “you know what? It’s OK. Tell the kids it’s the month of Christmas and you’ll celebrate on different days.”‘
However, rallying during the holidays had its highs and its lows.
‘So I kept going, “It’s the month”. Then one day I’d be hysterically crying.
‘It was really hard. Harder than I thought it would be.’
