Other winners of the night included Martin Lawrence, who nabbed the Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture award for his role in Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Denzel Washington, who received the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture award for his role in Gladiator II, and Ebony Obsidian, who won Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role in The Six Triple Eight.
The Six Triple Eight also won for Outstanding Ensemble Cast in a Motion Picture, while Sing Sing won for Outstanding Independent Motion Picture.
