Married At First Sight star Jacqui Burfoot’s alarming voice note to radio station in which she reveals what living with husband Ryan Donnelly was REALLY like

Married At First Sight bride Jacqui Burfoot has sent an alarming voice message to a popular Australian podcast, revealing what living with her TV husband Ryan Donnelly was like.
The controversial reality TV star, 29, sent a seven-minute voice message to the MAFS Goss With Abbie Chatfield podcast, which they played on air.
Jacqui is heard going on a long rant about how frustrating it was living with her MAFS match: ‘Living with Ryan was really, really difficult.
‘He would be really messy, have his shoes on the bed all the time and be a bit of a grot. When I’d ask him to do stuff, he would scold me,’ Jacqui began.
‘He’d snap back. I would ask him to please close the door when going to the bathroom and he would snap at me with, “What? It’s normal!” Really defensive and aggressive.’
She claimed that she even felt frightened by some of Ryan’s actions.

‘It was scary to be around. I think he’s got a machismo personality, a strong and aggressive sense of masculine pride,’ she added.
‘Whenever I challenged anything he did around the house he would snap at me, get really aggressive. That was the whole experiment, if I challenged him, he would snap back. It was an ongoing problem for absolutely everything.’
Jacqui revealed she felt their relationship was on unequal terms as there was an unfair amount of give and take.
‘On everything, it was his way or the highway. John Aiken asked how I compromised, and I did on absolutely everything. I compromised on sex, he didn’t want to have it and that is fine,’ she said.
‘It was absolute bull***t, I felt like I was getting shut down constantly. There’s been so much behaviour cut out, you are not seeing the worst of Ryan, you are seeing the best. He was a nightmare to live with and put in no effort.’
Ryan and Jacqui’s romance reached a breaking point during Sunday night’s episode as the couple took to the couch for the final Commitment Ceremony.
At last week’s Dinner Party, Ryan called out his wife’s harsh words about him during Homestays Week, which saw his fellow participants hold the bride accountable.
Following the fiery dinner, the couple met with the experts to discuss their relationship and decide whether to proceed to the Final Vows together.

Ryan opened up the conversation by saying, ‘I’ve wanted more than anything to have a team and have a best friend and ultimately an organic love that can grow from that. That’s why I came into this experiment.’
He went on: ‘However, I don’t believe that that should come at the ultimate cost of who you are as a person,’ adding that the last week was ‘a prime example’ of that.
The groom then sensationally revealed: ‘At times I’ve felt I haven’t had a partner, I’ve had a critic.’
When asked if she could list some things she had compromised on, Jacqui noted sleeping times and watching TV late at night, which Ryan revealed he ‘couldn’t recall’.
Jacqui began to sob hysterically into a tissue, met with a number of confused faces around the room.
After calming down, she admitted: ‘I do understand that I’m idealistic at times and maybe I’m unrealistic.
‘I think the things I stand hold on are things that are pretty important like respect and healthy communication, not being yelled at.’
The couple are no longer together and Jacqui is now in a relationship with their co-star Clint Rice and living in his lavish Tasmanian mansion.
Married At First Sight continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine and 9Now.
