I can’t lie today does have a bit of a Christmas morning type feel to it.
I think Bailey Smith and Jake Stringer find new homes today.
I fear Jack Macrae might be stuck at the Bulldogs, unfortunately for his sake.
Clayton Oliver probably ends up remaining a Melbourne player as well unless Andrew Mackie and Geelong can pull an absolute rabbit out of the hat.
Will the Bulldogs bite on Macrae offer?

Hi Frank,
To be frank (sorry, couldn’t help myself), I can’t see the Bulldogs accepting this offer.
Pick 47 is the worst of five picks St Kilda owns this year, and I’d imagine the Bulldogs would want something closer to the pick 32 the Saints have.

According to AFL.com.au’s Cal Twomey, St Kilda has offered pick 47 to the Bulldogs in exchange for Jack Macrae.
Fremantle, Richmond reach agreement on Shai Bolton deal
We’ve got some early action on deadline day!
Multiple reports suggesting Fremantle and Richmond have agreed on a deal that will send Shai Bolton to the Dockers.
According to Seven’s Mitch Cleary, this is the framework of the deal:
- Richmond gets: picks 10, 11, 18
- Fremantle gets: Shai Bolton, pick 14 and a 2025 Richmond third-round pick
