Live: Port aborts proposed three-way deal sending Dan Houston to Collingwood as Carlton swings huge pick swap

Carlton closing in on three-way deal with West Coast, Richmond
We’ve got another three-way deal in the works, this time involving Carlton, West Coast and Richmond.
The headline is Carlton sliding up to pick 3 in the draft, while West Coast will land Liam Baker and Matthew Owies.
Dan Houston stunned as Port aborts mega trade involving Collingwood
There were some absolute SCENES late last night on a proposed deal that was set to send Dan Houston to Collingwood.
According to SEN’s Sam Edmund, the proposed deal involving Port, the Magpies and the Suns was aborted by Port’s board.
“I am hearing it was the board as much as anything at Port Adelaide,” Edmund told AFL Trade Radio.
“This had gone to board level, and the board might have said ‘no, this can’t be happening’.
“So, from a Port Adelaide perspective, (Jack) Lukosius in for a future first, (Joe) Richards in for 39, (Rory) Atkins for 58, and that meant that Dan Houston was being traded for 13, 29 and 36 — and the Power weren’t happy with that.”
Here’s a look at exactly what the deal was that was aborted by the Power. Right move? Send us your thoughts!
