Live: Manning River floods past 96-year record level on NSW Mid North Coast

Hello, I’m Luke Cooper and I’ll be with you again today to take you through all of the rolling updates coming from the unfolding New South Wales flooding situation.

The Manning River on the Mid North Coast is currently flooding at a level never seen before at Taree — surpassing the 1929 record level of six metres — and is still rising.

Emergency authorities also have 11 emergency level alerts in place across the region and in the Hunter, with parts of Taree, Wingham and Glenthorne the areas of most concern.
