Kyle Richards finally reveals why she had explosive street row with dogwalker alongside Teddi Mellencamp

Kyle Richards has finally revealed why she had an explosive street row with a dog walker earlier this month which was captured in a shock viral video.

The reality star, 43, was seen confronting a woman while walking with Teddi Mellencamp, with the dogwalker tossing her scarf aside and charging straight at her.

Teddi, who is battling stage 4 cancer, bravely stepped in, standing between Kyle and the enraged woman, preventing things from spiraling out of control. 

The chaos escalated with the woman yelling until a security guard intervened, and the situation only settled when she crossed the street with her dogs.

Richards told TMZ: ‘As she was crossing the street she was dragging the dog. The leash was wrapped tight around his neck and she was dragging it,

I chased her and said, ‘don’t drag your dog like that’. I was not hiding behind Teddi

‘She was following me and was clearly trying to be aggressive with me and I was documenting it incase she did.’

This nerve-wracking showdown had come on the heels of a painful update from Teddi, who shared that her stage 4 melanoma had spread, with four new tumors discovered in her brain and lungs. 

The 43-year-old star, who has undergone extensive treatment, posted heartbreaking side-by-side photos showing her transformation. 

One photo captured her blonde, glowing appearance, while the other showed her with a close-cropped, semi-bald head after months of radiation and immunotherapy.

She captioned the post: ‘What a difference 4 months makes.’

In Wednesday’s caption, she continued, ‘Sometimes I am so focused on “being strong” that I forget I am allowed to be sad, cry it out, and feel very alone.’

She added, ‘I love my kids, friends, and family so much and am forever grateful to them but dang, today is one of those days.’

And the Two T’s In A Pod podcaster tried to be a source of support for others having a similarly hard time.

Richards told TMZ : ‘As she was crossing the street she was dragging the dog. The leash was wrapped tight around his neck and she was dragging it’

‘If you are having a bad day where you can’t wait for it to be bedtime so you can start over tomorrow,We are not alone,’ she noted.

The message concluded, ‘PS. I have watched Netflix and Hulu, what do I watch next? #overyoucancer.’

Mellencamp also took to her Instagram Stories, where she recorded herself on her daily walk with friends Kyle and Jennifer Leipart.

Teddi’s battle with cancer began in 2022 when she was first diagnosed with melanoma. 

After enduring the devastating effects of brain tumors for months, she finally sought medical help. 

She has already undergone more than 20 surgeries and continues to be candid about her physical changes. 

With the battle now more severe, Teddi has had to prepare her children — daughters Slate, 12, Dove, 5, and son Cruz, 10 — for what she fears may be the worst.

Amid all this, Teddi’s estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, has remained a pillar of support. 

Despite their separation, Arroyave has been all-in on helping Teddi through her health crisis. 

On Thursday’s episode of The Eds Podcast, he revealed how he’s putting aside their differences, stating, ‘People think that’s hard, but for me, that’s just what I do. 

Teddi Mellencamp, 43, shared an incredible health update with fans on Wednesday, amid her battle with stage four cancer 

Last week Mellencamp revealed that her tumors — resulting from melanoma that had metastasized to her brain and lungs — have significantly shrunk, and doctors believe she is a few weeks away from being cancer free. 

‘I just finished with all of my scans, and my tumors have significantly shrunk, which doctors believe means that this all will work, and that I will be back to myself, and feeling good,’ she shared in a video posted to her Instagram. 

Teddi — who previously revealed she was given a ‘fifty-fifty’ chance of survival — said that she has two more sessions of immunotherapy, adding, ‘and then hopefully I am done, and I will be cancer free.’
