Kristin Cavallari enjoys a ‘date night’ with rarely seen son Jaxon, 10, after previously hiding her kids’ faces on social media
Kristin Cavallari shared an adorable glimpse from her ‘date night’ with her rarely seen son, Jaxon, on Friday.
The Hills star, 38, shared a meal with her 10-year old at Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, in a video posted to her Instagram Stories on Friday.
While the star had previously obscured her children’s faces on social media, she appears to have altered her stance.
Cavallari shares three children with her ex-husband, Jay Cutler: sons Jaxon, and Camden, 12, and daughter Saylor, nine.
‘We’re tryin Hattie B’s for the first time, the hot chicken here in Nashville, never had it after all these years,’ Kristin shared in the clip.
‘Is it hot?’ she asked Jaxon, who was already taking a bite of his chicken tender. ‘Not really,’ he answered.

However, Kristin admitted that it was ‘a little spicy’ for her.
She then gave it a thumbs up, stating that despite the spiciness level, it was ‘so good.’
She followed up her video with a snap of them posing with their chicken tenders, and wrote, ‘Wait, honestly, so freaking good.’
The star previously shared a glimpse of Jaxon in January.
It comes a month after she offered her Instagram followers a rare look at her daughter Saylor.
Since becoming a mom in 2012, Cavallari has protected her three kids’ privacy by hiding their faces in all of her social media posts.
The star has done so by sharing images of her kids from behind or by obscuring their faces with emojis/objects.
In September, Kristin unveiled her 12-year-old son Camden’s face for the first time on social media.
When she posted the rare picture of son Camden, fans thought she mistakenly shared it by mistake. In order to alert her, fans flooded Cavallari’s inbox with messages.

Though she ‘appreciated’ the concern of her followers, she confirmed in a follow-up IG Story video that Camden’s face reveal was done purposely.
‘I appreciate everyone DMing me telling me that I showed Camden’s face. I know,’ The Hills alum began.
At the time, she said that Camden wants to appear on social media moving forward and that she feels he’s old enough to make that decision for himself.
‘He’s a little bit older now and he wants to be on social media, which is the only reason why I showed him,’ Cavallari explained.
‘The only reason I haven’t shown my kids is because I wanted to give them the choice when they got older.’
Earlier this month, Kristin continued her war of words with ex-husband Jay who she previously branded a pathological liar.
The media personality was candid in a Q&A with Interview Magazine. She was asked about co-parenting with the 41-year-old former Chicago Bears quarterback.
Kristin’s answer was certainly telling as she simply and scathingly replied: ‘The ultimate test in life.’

This comes months after she branded Jay a ‘pathological liar’ and said he brought ‘zero f*****g consistency’ to their relationship when they were together – while speaking on the Dumb Blonde podcast.

During her appearance on the podcast in December 2024, Kristin called their co-parenting relationship ‘so up and down’ and their relationship post-divorce a ‘bumpy road.’
Kristin even addressed the rumored affair he had with her ex-friend Kelly Henderson while they were still married, revealing that it may have happened.
The star also called their romance ‘toxic,’ something which she has previously said in 2022.
She said that while Jay – who was arrested in October for an alleged DUI in Tennessee – never apologized to her about certain things that happened during their marriage, she can still forgive him and have empathy toward the former football star.
