Kayla Itsines slams fitness influencers who ‘sexualise’ their content: ‘I just don’t want to see that’

Fitness guru Kayla Itsines has taken to her social media to slam other influencers in her industry for ‘sexualising’ their online content.
The personal trainer and author, 33, savaged her fitness cohorts for using provocative angles while filming their videos, especially when practising glute workouts.
Describing these videos as ‘booty programs’, the mother-of-two said it was not the sort of thing she wanted to see while having her morning coffee.
Captioning her Tik Tok video ‘Sexualisation in the fitness industry,’ Kayla appeared to be referring to influencers who film themselves from behind while exercising – though she did not explicitly describe it.
‘I literally got off instagram and TikTok so many times this morning,’ she began.
‘The fitness industry has become so sexualised and it’s this angle that people are filming from that is just not what I wanna see when I’m having my morning coffee.

While Kayla did not identify any particular fitness influencer as ‘guilty’ of sexualising their content users were quick to complain about Tammy Hembrow. (Pictured)
‘I know that particular angle gets likes and it gets engagement and I know you wanna advertise your booty program…’ she continued.
‘But like for me, I think it’s more like because I have a daughter and [when] I’m scrolling, and she’s sitting next to me, and I’m like ”Oh my god, I don’t want you looking at another girl’s [bottom] from that angle”.’
‘That is not something that I want so anyway if you’re a parent a female who does not want to see that at 7am or anytime on your phone then follow me.’
Elsewhere in her chat, which has attracted 37.1K love heart ‘likes’, Kayla re-assured viewers that she was not ‘a hater’ and was ‘just being a mum’.
‘I’m just a female that doesn’t want to see it. Not for me.’
While Kayla did not identify any particular fitness influencer as ‘guilty’ of sexualising their content, users were quick to complain about Tammy Hembrow.
‘Yes!, Tammy Hembrow is the worst [for sexualising content],’ one Tik Tok user wrote.
‘I commented on one of her posts recently,’ wrote another user commenting on Tammy’s content.

‘Her style has become SO TRASHY lately. She always posed with her glutes but since her surgery everything is so chesty.’
‘So true,’ added another.
‘There are so many fitness influencers out there and they’re taking up space in gyms, with their tripods, doing exactly this.’
Another Tik Tok user weighed in on the issue: ‘Yes 100% agree! It’s been labelled as empowering??? I don’t want to see it at 7am or 7pm.’
It comes after Tammy Hembrow was slammed by followers for showing off her new breast implants in a very revealing pink dress on Saturday.
The fitness influencer, 30, who had a breast implant revision in August last year, was almost spilling out of the top of her tiny frock in images she shared on Instagram.
And while many fans praised the social media star for her new figure, others slammed the blonde beauty for the very ‘adult’ display.
‘Sorry, but the first one [picture] is like a screensaver for an adult film,’ one person commented on the gallery of photos.
‘You can be sexy and classy but this is a bit over the top! I’m surprised they [the implants] don’t pop out in what you wear,’ said another.
A third wrote: ‘Wtf ur areiloa tone is right there why [sic].’
‘One of the greatest tragedies of the 21st century. Hasn’t been the same since she messed with her all natural body,’ ranted another.
Someone else chimed in: ‘Not classy with the front. Sad because you are a beautiful woman.’

‘Too big. Big fan of her and love her to bits but jeezzzzz,’ said someone else.
‘You’d look so good without implants. Please consider removing,’ yet another chimed in.
Last year, Tammy revealed she had undergone a breast implant revision procedure as she documented her recovery.
The revision surgery involves replacing old breast implants with new ones and can resolve issues that have developed from surgical problems or natural body changes.
Tammy underwent a mystery surgery at the end of July and later confirmed it was to get her eight-year-old breast implants removed and replaced.
In a video, the blonde beauty explained she decided to get them replaced because she felt ‘insecure’ with how they looked after they moved due to her gym exercises.
‘It’s kind of been a little insecurity of mine for a while, just like how they sat and they just weren’t doing what I wanted them to do,’ she explained.
Watchdog account Influencer Updates AU later claimed of her surgery: ‘She went bigger to avoid having a lift as that would have meant more scars.’
