I sell my sexy pictures on OnlyFans because no one will hire me for a 9-5 job: I once commanded 25k for a shoot but I squandered my fortune, reveals Lauren Goodger
Lauren Goodger has revealed that she is selling her lingerie-clad snaps on racy subscription sites OnlyFans and RevealMe to protect her family’s future after squandering her fortune.
The TOWIE star, 38, said she is happily living a ‘basic’ life in an ordinary semi-detached home with her daughter Larose, three, who she shares with her ex Charles Drury, but wants to make as much as she can for Larose’s future.
The brunette beauty previously revealed she used to command £25,000 for a magazine shoot in her TOWIE heyday but now is lucky to take home £2,000 now because the industry has changed so much.
Now, the reality star has turned to OnlyFans where she sells pictures of herself in lingerie for a $50 (£38) monthly membership with the adult photo sharing site.
However, Lauren confessed last month that she would rather not have to use the X-rated website, where she posts lingerie-clad photographs to make money.
She told MailOnline a series of poor financial decisions when she was younger and her work drying up has meant she has had to re-think.

Lauren revealed that after finding fame on TOWIE (pictured with Billie Faiers, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Jessica Wright, Lydia Bright and Sam Faiers) she blew through her fortune
She said: ‘When I first started I could get on average about £25,000 for a shoot for a magazine but it’s all moving online now and I get a lot less, maybe £2,000.
‘Before I would be doing a shoot or an appearance or something almost every day so I could make a lot but I found work started to dry up and especially after Covid, my pregnancy and my loss and everything.’
Lauren’s daughter, Lorena, died when she was two days old in July 2022, despite being born ‘with no pregnancy or labour complications.’
She added: ‘And when I was younger I didn’t manage my money and I didn’t have the right support around me.’
Lauren went on to confirm that she doesn’t plan on posing on OnlyFans forever but wants to make sure she is financially stable before she closes her account.
To make sure she can make as much money as she can, the TOWIE star has launched a profile on a new site, RevealMe which she explained was set up by her friend as a ‘UK version of OnlyFans’.
The star is hoping to regularly post pictures and interact with fans.
‘My plan with Reveal Me and OnlyFans is I just want to make as much money as I can is I can, shut it down and invest the money in property for my daughter, clear my debts and maybe start a business again.’ she said.
‘I don’t want to do it forever, I can’t really do it forever’.
Although Lauren doesn’t want to be selling sexy snaps forever, she revealed it wouldn’t work if she wanted to get a 9-5 job.
She said: ‘I couldn’t do a regular job – I used to. I used to work in the City and I have friends who do but I don’t think anyone would take me on anymore because of who I am.’

Lauren also discussed her approach to money after she found fame through TOWIE, revealing she had thought the money would last forever but is now ‘taking back control’.
‘You do think it will last forever but money comes and goes’, she said.
‘I feel like I’m getting the old Lauren back and I’m doing more myself and not with an agency.’
‘When I would do shoots I would lose about 20 percent through an agency but now I do it myself and I think it’s better.’
She added that she’s ‘grateful for the work’ but is more pragmatic with her finances now and revealed the advice she would give her daughter Larose, three.
The reality star, who is currently filming the TOWIE Christmas special, said: ‘I’m really grateful for the work and I can fill my cupboards each week but I am more sensible with my money.
‘When I was younger I didn’t manage my money and I didn’t have the right support around me’
‘I would tell Larose to invest and save. It’s nice to have designer clothes and bags but I would rather have the money.
‘Where I grew up, you went to school in Gucci shoes and I don’t want her to miss out but I want her to value money because it comes and goes and it’s hard and stressful.’
And while the star has returned to the hit reality show after more than six years, she confessed she isn’t sure she would want her daughter to follow in her footsteps.

She said: ‘I don’t want her doing it. I’ve learnt lots the hard way but I don’t want her doing anything like that.
‘I’m not sure about Larose going on TOWIE, maybe I would.
‘With Love Island I wouldn’t really want her to do it but I would be supportive and maybe be her manager because I want to protect her.’
Discussing her future plans, Lauren said that she would love to start a new business and wants to bring back her fake tan brand and work on her beauty business Lauren’s Way.
