‘Lonely Roads Lead to Sunshine,’ disgraced rapper Kanye West’s promises in his new song. But a storm is brewing as his ex-wife Kim Kardashian attempts to block its release.

The bone of contention?

The inclusion of their 11-year-old daughter, North West, on the track, rapping alongside a man who appears to be the accused sex-trafficker Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, phoning in straight from the slammer to thank Kayne for his support while inside awaiting trial. He has pled not guilty.

Frank and Nancy Sinatra’s wholesome duet this is not.

Unsurprisingly, dirty Diddy’s inclusion on the track hasn’t gone down well with Kim who, in a bid to protect her child from such dodgy associations, has reportedly started legal action.

And there’s more: Kanye shared online screenshots of terse, alleged texts from the billionaire reality queen claiming that the use of North on the track is an infringement issue – having (naturally) trademarked her daughter’s name at birth.

‘So, stop,’ says the alleged message from Kim. ‘I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song. To protect her. We agreed when they were born, I would get all of our kid’s names and trademarks. So no would else would take them.’

‘Amend it or I’m going to war and neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me,’ retaliates emetic man-child Kanye.

So there you have it: proof that in the house of Kardashian, the dollars truly start in diapers.

Sure, no mom would want their 11-year-old dragged in to their deranged dad’s latest public stunt.

Sleazy Yeezy’s thirst for attention and seriously skewed morality seem to know no bounds. Whether it’s his pimp-like parading of virtually naked girlfriend Bianca Censori, vile anti-Semitic rants or weaponizing his child in a tit-for-tat spat with his ex, no one is out here defending this repugnant repellent.

Yet, I can’t feel much sympathy for Kim.

Isn’t it all a little late in the day for a woman who has built an estimated $1.7 billion fortune through uncensored and unashamed exposure in every sense to expect restraint from her errant ex and better shielding of their four children?

Don’t forget, this is a fame and fortune rooted in a scuzzy 2007 sex tape which help launch Kim and her talentless family with their tacky television series on which, over the years, nothing has been off limits.

In one memorable 2022 episode of The Kardashians, Kim was more than happy for an incident involving her then six-year-old son, Saint, who ‘apparently’ stumbled across an advert referencing his mother’s notorious sex tape, to take centre stage.

The histrionics that followed, as she rang Kanye and her lawyer to discuss proposed legal action, seemed to be entirely play acting.

Even her lucky escape in 2016 from being held at gunpoint by robbers — lured by her much-flaunted gems — at her $12,000-a-night Parisian penthouse failed to reign in the excess.

You may have thought such a terrifying ordeal – during which she was bound, gagged and threatened — would prompt a little introspection over her lifestyle choices; to reconsider the ‘me, me, me’ manta and dial down the publicity. Apparently not.

The robbery drama simply became fodder for more footage, with a whole episode of The Kardashians dedicated to the incident – her reunion with her baby children played out in front of the camera and milked for prosperity.

Yes, Kanye has become the ex from hell and this apparent Diddy sing-along with his daughter is every mother’s worst nightmare —but Kim’s life-through-a-lens obsession is surely as much to blame.
