With the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea already out of the competition, Manchester City are the favourites to lift the trophy but it is as wide open as it has been for a number of years.
Fulham booked their place in the quarter-finals with a penalty shootout win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, and it leaves them firmly in the hunt for a first ever FA Cup triumph.
They did reach the final in the 1974-75 season, but that is as close as they have come. With Marco Silva’s side also only four points off the top four in the Premier League, it could prove to be an historic end to the campaign.
Crystal Palace have never lifted the FA Cup trophy either, losing in the final in 1990 and then again in 2016, when United came from behind to win in extra-time.
Fulham are the first Premier League side Palace have faced in the competition this season, with the Eagles having seen off Stockport, Doncaster and Millwall to reach this stage.
