The start of the 2024-25 PDC World Darts Championship is just around the corner and the winner of the highly-anticipated tournament is set to pocket a staggering amount of cash.

Defending world champion Luke Humphries will be joined by the world’s best darts players this month as they descend upon the Alexander Palace in the hopes of lifting the World Championship in the new year.

If Humphries is to deepen his pockets once again this year he will have to fight off fierce competition from the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith and Luke Littler.

Teenage sensation Luke Littler broke onto the scene last year, reaching the final as an unseeded player and it was almost the fairytale ending for the then 16-year-old as he just fell short in the final.

His impressive run last year earned him a staggering £200,000 cheque but this year he will be hoping to do one better and take home the top prize.

Here is how much the winner of the 2025 World Darts Championship will earn, as well as the full breakdown of the £2.5million prize fund.
