Hilaria Baldwin reveals why she got a breast lift after seven kids

Hilaria Baldwin has opened up about her decision to get a breast lift.

On Sunday’s episode of her family’s TLC reality series The Baldwins, the 41-year-old mother-of-seven confessed she wanted a breast augmentation after her pregnancies changed her body.

Hilaria and husband Alec Baldwin, 67, share Carmen, 11, Rafael, nine, Leonardo, eight, Romeo, six, Eduardo and María, four, and Ilaria, two. Alec also shares 29-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

‘[Because] I was breastfeeding for so long, it was one of these things I decided to do, like, a little up,’ she explained on the show.

She added, ‘I’ve been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for over a decade. I think this is the first time that I’ve not been pregnant and/or breastfeeding since I’ve started having kids.’

‘It almost felt like my body wasn’t my body anymore, because I was so used to my body being a certain way. It was just to make myself feel okay, and that’s okay,’ the wellness enthusiast noted.

Elsewhere in the episode, she admitted that she worries about how her cosmetic procedures will affect her young daughters, particularly her oldest child Carmen.

‘Any time I do something in the realm of vanity, I don’t want them to feel that they have to be a certain way. And I want to try to protect Carmen because I’ve experienced a lot of self-doubt and listened to the criticism more than I should have,’ Hilaria explained.

She referenced her 2016 body-positivity book, The Living Clearly Method, as she stated, ‘I opened up about growing up with an eating disorder. 

‘I turned to yoga, health and wellness to heal my body and my mind. I think back to my old self and how much I would have struggled with gaining weight during pregnancy and being patient with healthfully losing it.’

Noting how far she’s come, she continued, ‘I’m so happy I can be a strong and happy mommy now, completely accepting of my body.’

The tight-knit family celebrated their patriarch last week as he turned a year older.

Hilaria posted a video clip of their kids sitting around a table with Alec as they sang Happy Birthday to him.

‘Happy Birthday, Alec. We love you!’ she captioned the snippet, which she uploaded to Instagram.

The family has welcomed cameras into their bustling home for the new reality show, which premiered on February 23

Following the February 23 premiere of the new show, Alec enraged fans when he complained that his family’s New York City penthouse is ‘too small’ for him, his wife, and their brood.

Despite the sprawling square footage of the Devonshire House penthouse — which was purchased in 2011 for $11.7 million, per Curbed — the Saturday Night Live star stressed that he and his loved ones are feeling cramped.

But sympathy for the Baldwins was hard to come by online, with fans taking to social media to share their unforgiving reactions to the complaint.

One person wrote on an X thread, ‘My wife & I raised 3 kids in a 1,300 sqft, 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. Poor guy just needs more space.’
