Anthony Gordon looks set to miss out after suffering a hip injury which “does not look good” towards the end of England’s 2-0 win over Albania at Wembley.
The Newcastle winger went down in apparent distress towards the end of the World Cup qualifier and received treatment from the England physios before limping down the tunnel.
“He looks injured,” Tuchel said afterwards. “First of all I thought it was his stomach but it’s his hip and it does not look good.”
Should Gordon drop out of the squad, one of Morgan Gibbs-White and Jarell Quansah are in line to take his place having been among the trio left out of Tuchel’s first England matchday squad.
