Drake returns to social media for first time since Kendrick Lamar’s Grammys sweep with underwear selfie

Drake returned to social media for the first time since Kendrick Lamar’s Grammys sweep last Sunday by posting a shirtless underwear selfie.

On Monday, the Canadian 38-year-old – who boasts 263.4M social media followers – was in Australia relaxing by a jacuzzi and captioned his Instastory ‘[Hot] day in Perth’ but accidentally wrote ‘how’ instead.

Drake (born Aubrey Graham) officially kicked off his 16-date Anita Max Win Tour at Perth’s RAC Arena on Tuesday.

‘My name is Drake. I started doing music in 2008. I come all the way from Toronto, Canada. The year is now 2025. And no matter what, Drizzy Drake is very much alive and that’s all thanks to you. So I love ya,’ the biracial hip-hop star announced onstage.

‘I want to thank you for the love tonight, Perth. I want to promise you I will never wait this long to come back to you again. I swear to God. I love this place. My new album with PartyNextDoor comes out on February 14.’

Drake – who gets 74.2M monthly listeners on Spotify – posted a teaser for their collaborative album, titled $OME $EXY $ONGS 4 U, on Monday.

‘They thought Einstein was lying / [And] Shakespeare was barely rhyming,’ the Stake paid partner captioned a slideshow of snaps from his first show.

‘[And] Edison wasn’t lit despite what he was designing / So how can I give AF what they say about my stars aligning.’

And while Drake has won a total five Grammy Awards during his 17-year career, Kendrick just won five Grammy Awards in one night for his Drake diss track Not Like Us – making his total 22.

The OVO Sound co-founder spent much of last year embroiled in a brutal public feud with Lamar – releasing four diss tracks (Push Ups, Taylor Made Freestyle, Family Matters, and The Heart Part 6) poking fun of his 5ft5in stature, domestic/sex abuse allegations, 50% record deal, as well as his collaborations with Taylor Swift and Maroon 5.

The 37-year-old Pulitzer Prize winner won the battle after releasing five diss tracks (Like That, Euphoria, 6:16 in LA, Meet the Grahams, and Not Like Us) accusing Drake of Ozempic use, pedophilia, and having an illegitimate 11-year-old daughter.

On November 25, Drake sued their label Universal Music Group for using an illegal ‘bots and a payola scheme’ in order to artificially inflate the streaming numbers of Kendrick’s Not Like Us.

The rap rivals started out amicable collaborating on Drake’s 2011 album Take Care, Lamar’s 2012 track Poetic Justice, and A$AP Rocky’s 2013 track F***** Problems.

The talented twosome even happily toured together in 2012 during Drake’s $42.6M-grossing, 65-date Club Paradise Tour.

Lamar (born Duckworth) will headline the Super Bowl LIX Apple Music Halftime Show, which will be held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA next Sunday alongside tourmate SZA.

Drake returns to RAC Arena this Wednesday, and he’ll also oversee production on the eight-episode third season of Sam Levinson’s Max drama Euphoria, which reportedly begins January 30.
