Drake cancels the remainder of his Australia and New Zealand tour due to ‘scheduling conflict’

Drake has cancelled the remainder of his Australia and New Zealand tour.
The Canadian rapper, 38, was due to perform at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 4 before a date at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on March 7.
The hitmaker was then set to play gigs at Auckland in New Zealand on March 15 and 16.
But Drake has officially cancelled the remaining dates of his tour due to a ‘scheduling conflict’.
‘We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows,’ a spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
‘All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale.

‘We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon.
‘We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible.’
Confused fans have expressed their disappointment on social media as they said the rapper would have known his schedule months in advance.
It comes after the Courier Mail reported that Drake had abruptly left the country on Wednesday morning and was headed to Fiji.
His plane is then scheduled to leave for Hawaii for refuelling before touching down in Toronto.
Rumours were also swirling that Drake had planned to have his stage equipment shipped to Europe.
Among the reasons for the rumoured cancellation were low ticket sales, with the star yet to sell out his second Brisbane concert.
