Demi Moore was once again joined by her beloved pet pooch Pilaf as she posed for snaps with a blood-soaked Nicole Scherzinger after her Sunset Boulevard show on Broadway on Wednesday.

The Ghost actress, 61, held hands with the former Pussycat Dolls singer, 46, as they beamed for photos backstage at the St. James Theatre in New York City.

Clearly distracted by Nicole’s unusual appearance, little Pilaf was seen sniffing the stage star.

Demi wrapped up for the show by layering a black roll neck top under a grey knitted ribbed jumper.

The Hollywood star teamed the number with a pair of long tailored navy shorts and kept comfortable in a pair of black chunky boots.

The ex-wife of Bruce Willis completed her evening ensemble with her dark tresses loose and a pair of stylish glasses.

Coming straight from the stage, Nicole met Demi in her stage outfit as her fake blood dripped from her face and down her chest and arms.

The singer, who plays character Norma Desmond in the Broadway production, wore a simple black maxi dress which was also covered in blood, as part of the thrilling conclusion to her stage performance.

The Masked Singer judge took to the stage in New York City as leading role of faded actress Norma Desmond in the classic Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, after previously playing the character on London’s West End.

She and co-star Tom Francis both won Olivier Awards for their efforts on the West End, and Tom has joined the Don’t Cha singer on Broadway.

Nicole recently admitted that despite her success in theatre, she had initially felt ‘discarded’ by the industry following her pop career.

She told People: ‘I’m [46] years old. I’ve never been more strong — physically, mentally, emotionally. I’m in my prime. There is no better time for me to create work that is meaningful in this world.

‘That’s the tragedy: is that you’re in the best place in your life. You’re so full, you have so much to give, and people have discarded you, and dismissed you and said ‘Your time’s up…”

The star looked effortlessly stylish in an all-black minimalist look as she dropped by New York City’s IFC Center for a Q&A session to accompany the critically acclaimed horror film.

Demi favored a classy Thom Browne ensemble featuring a sleek black sweater, which she layered with a nearly identical black cardigan that had a red, white and black stripe running under the row of buttons.

Demi contrasted the fuzzy sweater with a shiny black midi skirt with wide pleats that reached down past her knee.

She complemented her outfit with a set of eye-catching black derby brogue shoes with textured Scotch grain finish, and she appeared to go sock-free in the dress shoes.

The ex-wife of Bruce Willis also carried a black handbag and wore a fashion-forward pair of black-frame aviator sunglasses that matched her long, raven tresses, which cascaded delicately down her shoulders.
