Michael van Gerwen stoked the flames at Alexandra Palace by saying that Luke Littler’s performances have been the biggest disappointment so far at the World Championship.
But Littler refused to bite back, and his 103.14 average against Ryan Joyce silenced his doubters.
And Littler has since responded: “Yeah, it might answer a few questions, but I’m just happy with the result, happy with the power scoring.”
