Prior to his team’s relocated playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp debuted a new looking hairdo.
Kupp strolled out onto the field at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona sporting braids in his hair on Monday evening.
It was noticed by one fan – who took a screenshot and shared it to X, formerly Twitter – and it was quickly picked up by other users.
‘Omg!!!!! I didn’t even recognize cooper.. I was like woah [Rams head coach Sean] McVay added someone from the practice squad. You know it’s going down….,’ one fan said.
Another remarked, ‘Hes going off tonight,’ while a different user predicted, ‘I’ve seen enough, Rams by 500.’
One user made a more specific predictions saying, ‘Kupp for 12 catches, 160 yards, and 2 tuds.’

Kupp and the Rams are playing their playoff game in Arizona due to the Los Angeles wildfires
Kupp previously admitted that his team was adjusting after their home playoff game had to be moved to Glendale – home of the division rival Arizona Cardinals – due to the devastating wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles.
‘There’s nothing normal about practicing at the Arizona Cardinals facility and all the implications that are going around,’ he told reporters this week.
‘You still feel that but … it is nice to be able to be out here with the guys and have something to work towards.’
‘Nothing close to things that are happening in the real world,’ Kupp added, ‘but it is an opportunity for us to draw closer together and say ‘let’s be able to respond from a little bit of hardship here and go out there and do something special.’
The Rams did something special by jumping out to an early lead. Quarterback Matthew Stafford competed a touchdown pass to running back Kyren Williams on their opening drive and then kicked a field goal their next drive to take a 10-0 lead.
At the time of publication, the Rams lead the Vikings 10-3.
