College basketball fans went wild this week in response to an extremely curious photo from Kentucky’s trip to Gonzaga on Saturday.
Two days after the game, a fan watching the contest on ESPN noticed a baby sitting alone on the stairs during the first half – and shared the bizarre snapshot to X.
The post has now been seen more than two million times, and fans had plenty of hilarious replies to the surreal scene.
‘Babysitting is expensive these days,’ one said.
‘He’s going to get a beer!,’ another cracked.
A third said, ‘He was too nervous to sit with his fam.’

The original poster of the photo, @PapawWashington, followed up by posting a video of the moment as proof the baby was in fact real.
In the clip, the child can be clearly seen moving on the steps before an adult nearby appears to move towards them.
Kentucky pulled off a 90-89 win against Gonzaga in overtime to hand the hosts their second loss of the season.
