Chris Pratt and his rarely-seen son Jack, 12, go wild with excitement at Dodgers-Yankees World Series game

Chris Pratt and his son Jack appeared to be having the time of their lives as they cheered on the Los Angeles Dodgers at the World Series Game 1 on Friday.

While watching their team face off and defeat the New York Yankees, the actor, 45, and 12-year-old were seen going wild among the more than 52,000 other fans in attendance at Dodger Stadium as they made it on to the Jumbotron. 

As they were featured on the screen, the father-son duo, who sported matching Dodgers jerseys and baseball caps, stood up and waved enthusiastically.

Pratt shares Jack with his ex-wife, Anna Faris, who he was married to from 2009 to 2018.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star has since gone on to remarry best-selling author, Katherine Schwarzenegger, who is currently pregnant with their third child.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger share daughters Lyla, four, and Eloise, two.

Their baby on the way is due any day as Pratt teased earlier this month that Schwarzenegger could go into labor at ‘any moment now.’

The Jumbotron footage, uploaded to TikTok by Yahoo Sports, also featured John Legend sitting next to his daughter Luna, eight, and son Miles, six.

Other famous faces in the crowd included Jennifer Lawrence, Billie Eilish, Anthony Anderson, Bryan Cranston and Jimmy Kimmel. 

Last year, Pratt and Jack made headlines after attending a Dodgers game together.

‘What a day! Jack and I got to hit the mound together, eat our bodyweight in Dodger Dogs and delivered the game opening announcement!’ the Parks and Recreation alum captioned a slideshow from their day at the ballpark.

He continued: ‘Thank you @claytonkershaw for asking me to throw yesterday’s first pitch for faith and family day, what an honor! Let’s go Dodgers!’

In August, Jack, who Pratt and Faris typically refrain from posting photos of on social media, turned 12.

To mark the special day, Pratt shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to Jack on his Instagram.

‘Happy birthday to my wonderful son Jack. I thank God every day for you sweet boy,’ he captioned photos of them on a farm together.

He continued: ‘You are so smart, hilarious, kind, thoughtful, trustworthy and tough. I love you so much kiddo. Twelve!? I honestly can’t believe it.’

In 2023, Pratt advised people to ‘rush’ into into having children to give you more time together.

In the interview, he recommended that people ‘don’t wait’ to have children and that having them was ‘incredible’.

Speaking to Men’s Journal, he said: ‘People say all the time, “Don’t rush to have kids.” I personally disagree. Rush. Have them. Of course, make sure you find a great partner, but don’t wait.’

He explained: ‘I was talking to Adam Sandler a while back and he said, “Every day you wait is a day they don’t get to have you in their life.”

‘The younger you have kids, the more time they get to have with you.

‘It’s wild. Having kids is incredible. The things you normally take for granted in life are new. As they grow up, it becomes more about connecting with them as individuals and what makes them unique.

‘The softness of their hearts. How their minds work. How they’re the same as you. How they’re different.’

Chris added that becoming a father had affected his career, as it impacted choosing what roles he goes for.  

He said: ‘In the same way that being a father changes the kind of actor you are, it can definitely change the kinds of roles you want to be involved in.

‘I’ve found myself wanting to do more PG movies. I see a lot because my kids want to watch them, and to be honest, some of them are bad. And I’m sitting there thinking, This is terrible.

‘So at the same time as wanting to make movies that would entertain my kids, I’m also thinking about creating movies that are merciful on the parents.’
