Netflix hit Boy Swallows Universe has swept the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards Industry awards (AACTAs).
The show swept up at the prestigious ceremony, held at Home of the Arts (HOTA) on the Gold Coast on Friday night.
The imaginative drama scored an impressive 12 prizes in the TV category including Best Mini Series and Best Actor for its young star Felix Cameron.
The 15-year-old took to the stage to accept his award at the glamorous ceremony hosted by Hollywood legend Russell Crowe.
Succession star Sarah Snook took home the prize for Best Actress in a feature film for the animated movie Memoir of a Snail.
Australian screen legend Jacki Weaver won Best Supporting Actress for the same picture, which uses stop motion animation to tell a story about a ‘misfit’ snail.
This year was the first time that ‘voice actors’ could compete for the prestigious top prizes in the acting category.

In the feature film category Better Man, the eccentric special effects filled Robbie Williams biopic walked away with the Best Film prize and Best Actor award for Jonno Davies.
The 32-year-old British-born actor performed his part as a ‘fictional’ Robbie Williams with his face and body appearing as a chimpanzee – an effect created using CGI.
Better Man, which has been a surprise hit Down Under after it flopped at the BO overseas, also scored a best supporting actor prize for Damon Herriman and best director for Aussie filmmaker Michael Gracey.
The unique feature also won AACTAs for Best Screenplay, Best Editing and Best Original Score.
Netflix hit Heartbreak High walked away with the AACTA award for Best TV Series, while Boy Swallows Universe swept the acting prizes in the drama category including Phoebe Tonkin, who won for Best Lead Actress.
Boy Swallows Universe cast mate also took home the AACTA award for Deborah Mailman for Best Supporting actress and Best Supporting Actor for Lee Tiger Halley.
Fan favourite Kitty Flanagan took home Best Actress in a Narrative Comedy for Fisk, which also won the best comedy AACTA (series).
Australian TV and film legends Working Dog, the comedy team behind hits like the films The Castle and The Dish and shows like Frontline and Utopia were honoured with the prestigious Longford Lyell Award.

The prize honours local screen talent who have ‘inspired’ others through their work while contributing to ‘advancing Australian screen culture and experience.’
Long time Working Dog collaborators Ed Kavalee and Sam Pan presented the award to the WD team – Santo Cilauro, Tom Gleisner, Jane Kennedy, Michael Hirsh, and Rob Sitch.
Meanwhile, AACTA Audience Choice Award prizes were presented to Margot Robbie for Favourite Australian Actress, while Chris Hemsworth won for Favourite Actor.
Robert Irwin won the audience award for Favourite Media Personality, while Wicked was recognised as Favourite Film.
Netflix’s Outer Banks won audience prize for Favourite TV Show, while AACTA’s Audience Choice Award for Favourite Digital Creator went to Bridey Drake.
Meanwhile, screenwriter John Collee took won the prize for Best Screenplay Drama for Boy Swallows Universe.
It also won AACTAs for Best Cinematography, Best Production Design and Best Sound, which were handed out during the Academy’s Industry awards on Wednesday.
The other big winner on Wednesday night was George Miller’ George Miller’s Mad Max prequel Furiosa.
The spectacular action-packed film starring Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy won prizes for Best Cinematography, Best sound, Production Design, and Best Hair and Costume Design.
The Sydney-based team behind the controversial low-budget drama Birdeater went home with the AACTA award for Best Indie Film.
And the long in the making film about legendary Aussie rockers Midnight Oil, The Hardest Line, also scored a major prize for Best Editing in the documentary category.
Meanwhile, Gracie Otto won the AACTA Award for Best Documentary, for Otto by Otto.
