The 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards, hosted by Nobody Wants This star Kristen Bell, is being streamed live on Netflix for the second year in a row starting at 8 p.m. ET.
It is presented by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and is the ‘only televised awards ceremony to exclusively honor actors.’
During the hours-long ceremony, 13 awards will be handed for ‘outstanding performances’ in both film and TV that were decided on by SAG-AFTRA’s 130,000+ members.

According to the official website, the SAG Awards have ‘the largest voting body on the awards circuit.’
Pamela Anderson, Demi Moore, Zoe Saldana and Timothée Chalamet are just some of the A-list stars who snagged nominations at this year’s ceremony.
Unlike prior years, the official SAG Awards nomination ceremony was canceled for 2025 in wake of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires that broke out in January.
Instead, SAG-AFTRA shared the nominations online.
The musical blockbuster Wicked — based on the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical — leads the nominations for SAG’s top film honors with five nods.
Wicked’s nominations include best actress (Cynthia Erivo), best supporting actress (Ariana Grande), best supporting actor (Jonathan Bailey), best ensemble cast and best stunt cast.
The other nominees for the SAG award for best ensemble cast are the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, papal selection drama Conclave, Anora, the story of a sex worker who marries the son of a Russian oligarch, and Golden Globe winner Emilia Perez.
A Complete Unknown star Chalamet is nominated for best actor for his portrayal of the folk legend.

His co-stars Edward Norton (who played Pete Seeger) and Monica Barbaro (who was Joan Baez) were recognized in the supporting actor and actress categories.
Emilia Pérez is nominated for best cast. The Spanish-language film’s controversial star Karla Sofía Gascón is up for best actress against The Substance’s Demi Moore and Mikey Anora’s Madison while Zoe Saldana got a supporting actress nod.
Selena Gomez did not receive an individual nod but she is a part of the Emilia Perez ensemble cast category.
Gomez’s Hulu series Only Murders In The Building is nominated in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series slot.
Anora got separate nominations for star Mikey Madison (best actress) and supporting actor Yura Borisov.
Demi Moore — who is on track for an Oscar win — snagged a best actress nod for her lead role in the body horror film The Substance, which has already earned her a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award.

The Bear is nominated for best comedy series ensemble alongside Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building and Shrinking.
The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White will face off against Shrinking’s Harrison Ford and Nobody Wants This star Adam Brody in the best male actor in a comedy series.
Meanwhile, Shogun stars Hiroyuki Sanada and Tadanobu Asano were nominated in the best male actor in a drama series category along with The Old Man’s Jeff Bridges and The Day Of The Jackal’s Eddie Redmayne.
As for best performances in the television movie or limited series categories, HBO’s The Penguin, Netflix’s Baby Reindeer and Netflix’s Ripley are all competing for the top acting prizes.
Baby Reindeer’s Jessica Gunning and The Penguin’s Cristin Milioti are the predicted frontrunners for the best actress award, while The Penguin’s Colin Farrell could come out on top against Baby Reindeer’s Richard Gadd and Ripley’s Andrew Scott.
Host Kristen Bell is also among the night’s nominees as she received a best female actor in a comedy series nod for Netflix’s Nobody Wants This.
She’s up against the likes of Hacks’ Jean Smart and The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri in the category.

Stunt crews that have worked on the latest and greatest TV shows and movies are also being recognized at the 2025 ceremony.
The stunt casts for the blockbusters Wicked, Dune: Part Two, Gladiator II, The Fall Guy and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine are all nominated.
Meanwhile, the TV stunt casts who worked on The Penguin, Fallout, Shogun, The Boys and House of The Dragon have also been nominated.
Jane Fonda is set to be honored with the SAG Life Achievement Award, becoming the 60th recipient of the ceremony’s highest tribute.
In a statement, SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher described Fonda, 37 — a two-time Oscar-winner with a career spanning over six decades — as a ‘trailblazer and an extraordinary talent.
‘[Fonda is] a dynamic force who has shaped the landscape of entertainment, advocacy and culture with unwavering passion,’ the Nanny star continued.
‘We honor Jane not only for her artistic brilliance but for the profound legacy of activism and empowerment she has created.’
