Conference League last-16 format
The teams who finished in the top eight of the Conference League table have automatically qualified for the last-16 and they will be joined by the eight winners of the two-legged knockout phase play-off tie.
Pairings for the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-final will be pre-defined, based on where teams finished in the League phase.

As a result of finishing top in the league phase, Chelsea’s four possible opponents were Gent, Copenhagen, Real Betis and Heidenheim.
That has now been cut to just Real Betis or Copenhagen, after the play-off ties.
