Russell Wilson and Ciara treat Steelers team to astonishing Christmas gifts before Chiefs showdown
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson has splashed the cash on some extraordinary Christmas gifts to his teammates to celebrate the holidays.
The Steelers are playing against Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day and if they needed any extra motivation to dig deep for what would be a huge victory, Wilson provided it on Christmas Eve.
Wilson gifted his offensive linemen a $10,000 AirBnb voucher for anywhere in the world and a Louis Vuitton duffel bag in Steelers colors.
He also gave the entire team a pair of his luxury Good Man Brand shoes, while his stunning wife Ciara also chipped in.
She gave the team a bottle of her rum – called TenToOne – ahead of the big game. The singer often goes to Steelers games to cheer her husband on and regularly turns up in team merch during the season.
The Steelers tweeted out a video of the gifts on Tuesday evening, captioning the video: ‘From: Russ Wilson To: The offensive line.’
The 36-year-old Wilson has been enjoying somewhat of a renaissance in Pittsburgh this season at a time when most people thought his best days were behind him.

After leaving the Seattle Seahawks, Wilson started the 2024 campaign as the No 2 Steelers quarterback as he struggled with a calf issue.
But he reclaimed the No 1 role when he returned to complete health, replacing Justin Fields even though he had made a promising start to the season.
The Steelers are 10-5 and locked into a fight with the Baltimore Ravens – on the same record – to win the AFC North ahead of the playoffs in January. The Ravens play the Houston Texans on Wednesday after Chiefs vs Steelers.
Quarterbacks across the NFL have been buying some extravagant gifts for their linemen ahead of Christmas.
Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow bought his teammates samurai swords – and revealed they actually asked for guns – while Patrick Mahomes bought a watch, Lucchese boots, Yeti coolers and compression boots.
Former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones even bought a gift for his old teammates even though he was cut by the franchise earlier in the year.
Jones sent his former linemen a bottle of luxury tequila for their efforts during their time together.
